Fountain "Pearl"

Its Pearl appeared in the Olympic Village of the 2014 Winter Olympics. Being close to the Black Sea, “Pearl” continues the marine theme. The fountain is made in the shape of a sea shell with an elegant pearl in the center of the bowl. From the pearl itself, a foamy column of water rises to a height of 7 meters. For facing the bowl of the fountain, a granite mosaic made using modern technology was used. Inside the bowl with the help of a mosaic pattern, an effect imitating the relief of a pearl shell was achieved.

This fountain is dynamic. There are 42 nozzles installed in the fountain, which form smoothly changing water paintings - foam pillars, a water tent. In the evening, the fountain works with musical accompaniment, and the fountain jets are dynamically highlighted to the chords of musical compositions.

The construction period of the fountain was 49 days. Governor of the Krasnodar Territory A.N. Tkachev, who visited the fountain in the early days of his work, thanked the FontanGrad Director General for the quality work done as soon as possible, which is the main condition for the construction of facilities on the territory of the Olympic Village.
