Fountain "Rostovchanka"

Another fountain, created by FontanGrad experts in conjunction with the Donskoy Prichal company, was opened on the embankment of Rostov-on-Don. The fountain "Rostovchanka" was the result of the reconstruction of the monument, it came to replace the flowerbed located here. Now, at the bottom of the sculpture of the girl, water murmurs peacefully.
The construction of the fountain began in January 2014. According to the project, this monument was deployed towards the Don River for river vessels. Instead of a small flower bed, FontanGrad specialists built a fountain with a classic round bowl. According to the idea of the sculptor Anatoly Sknarin, the feet of the Rostov woman should have been washed by water.

This monument was erected on the waterfront in 1984. After 30 years, it was decorated with the fountain of the same name. The diameter of the bowl is 6 meters, the maximum height of the foamed jets is 60 cm. In the evening, 20 LED lamps illuminate the fountain. The average power consumption of the fountain is 5 kW. Water paintings "Rostov" form 16 fountain nozzles and three pumps.

The words of the poet Lev Oshanin, knocked out at the foot of the monument, preserved and transferred to the base of the fountain. The construction of the fountain, (despite its rather small size), was a technologically complicated project due to the proximity of the Don river bed.
In addition to the Rostovchanka fountain, another project from the FontanGrad company decorates the embankment of the southern city - the light and music fountain Petrovsky.
