Fountain on Red Square

In Cheboksary, on Red Square, in the center of the city, there is a beautiful light and music fountain. The opening was timed to coincide with the centenary of the republic of Chuvashia. It was celebrated on June 24, 2020.
The size of the artwork is 45x22.5 m (1012 square meters). The combination of controlled water flow and light illumination creates a variety of visual effects.

The water flow is controlled by nine pumps, as well as 154 nozzles (58 individually controlled by pumps) creating water patterns. To illuminate the jets, 154 waterproof LED RGB lights are used. For the connection, 12 km of waterproof cable was used.
